Justin BolingMore PostsOh My…It’s Katie! (episode 37)

The one and only Katie Edwards joins the fellas this week! In addition to debating just how “Godly” Katie is, the trio talks about a variety of tips, tricks and tidbits to kicking off an incredible fall. Plus, they spend way too much time on an email from the Youth Worker Nation, and a sponsor sends in two gifts…and somehow Jason ends up with both.

Justin BolingMore PostsTips To Improve YOUR Blog from Chuck Norris!!

It’s safe to assume that you have a blog, as it must be a requirement to be a youth worker. However here are a couple tips to improve your blogging…

  1. Use Images! It’s true they actually dospeak 1,000 words.
  2. Keep Posts Short & Sweet. It’s easy to write about something we are passionate about, but its hard to write about that same thing and keep it short!
*FACT most readers give you 15-30 seconds before they are on to the next thing!
  3. Create Practical Lists. Like this one “4 Theological Teaching Tips”. This is intriguing to the reader, and it yells THIS IS A SHORT BLOG POST!
  4. Chuck Norris! Just saying his name will increase your blog traffic by 1,000,000%!

Justin BolingMore PostsA SPECIAL Invitation!

Our normal push for this event is almost secretive, but this year I was able to get you access to Group & Simply Youth Ministry’s Annual Youth Ministry ReGroup. If you are interested hurry as we are alomst SOLD-OUT! Below is more information about the YM ReGroup…

You’re invited to a life-changing event that is reserved for a small group of youth pastors!

**CLAIM YOUR INVITATION BEFORE IT EXPIRES**

This unique and intimate gathering is specifically crafted for youth pastors who crave the time, interactivity, and in-depth learning that happens in a retreat setting. Every year at this event, the 100-or-so attending youth pastors get an interactive ministry growth experience like no other (just ask past participants). Over the course of three days you’ll learn how to do something that’s rare in today’s youth ministry—push the accelerator down on “tipping point” ministry practices instead of fret about what’s not working. Our team will lead you through a pinpoint array of growth-producing ministry imperatives. In addition, we’ll stretch your thinking with some models of transformation and change that will get you thinking about “what could be” for both your youth ministry and your own life.

In addition, a highlight of this event every year is an evening at Thom and Joani Schultz’s (President and Chief Creative Officer of Group) home, enjoying a meal together. Also, we’ll gather in one of the most beautiful spots in the Colorado Rockies for a picnic and a special experience that will deepen your relationship with Jesus.

We’ve made the registration cost (which includes your meals) a low $125—our simple desire is to “love on” a community of youth pastors who have unique challenges and a unique perspective in the context of a three-day trajectory-changing retreat.

A Beautiful Mess

**FREE copy of A Beautiful Mess by Mark Oestreicher with EVERY Registration!**

Tyler ShickMore PostsBooks Your Students Will Actually Read Bundle

Introducing the Books Your Students Will Actually Read Bundle. Seven of our best books that will help students grow in their faith and into the word. It includes:

  • One Minute Bible for Students
The One Minute Bible for Students won’t replace your Bible. It will inspire you to take side trips into your Bible to see what came before and what comes after the passage you just read. These bite-size servings of Scripture are sure to increase your appetite for God’s Word.
  • Stripped Clean
Give your teenagers a guilt-free, up-close look at materialism–one that strips away the overwhelming messages of a consumer society. You’ll see authentic changes in readers as they tear out pages to use in Jesus-centered activities.
  • 10 Minute Moments – God’s Story
Each edition works like a daily journal with 31 relevant devotionals that only take about 10 minutes to complete. Students will read a Bible passage, get some questions to chew on, some suggestions to help them pray, and then space to reflect. It’s easy to read and easy to stick with. This edition is focused on God’s story–
