Shane and I are so excited about the Simply Youth Ministry Conference this year. Last year was our first look at the internal workings with SYMC and the Group/Simply Youth Ministry team. All I can say about our experience is that it was, ”Amazing”. This conference is unique in many ways, but the one thing stuck out to me was the involvement of youth workers from day one! Shane and I had the opportunity to be apart of the planning meetings, and they mean it when they say, “The conference for youth workers BY youth workers.” We meet youth leaders from all over the country, and saw ownership and creative freedom given to them so they can create a conference for themselves. These youth workers plan and program ever aspect of SYMC and I have never seen such a team mindset for an event of this size and scope. It’s pretty amazing to be apart of a team that truly considers its audience’s needs in ministry.
Our latest project, “The One You Need”, which we hope you have a chance to check out before the conference, was a life changing experience for us to say the least!
