Win an iPad

Chris on June 9th, 2010

We are giving away an iPad as part of our 40 40 40 sale.  Entering is easy.

  1. Go to www.Simplyyouthministry.com/404040
  2. Fill out the form and tell us why your ministry needs a robot
  3. Watch this blog on Friday to find out who won!

Here are a few of the great responses to the robot question we’ve got so far:

Listen to the drama stories from junior high girls.  Respond with ”ohhh’s” every 3mn.

AppropriBot: Pull Boys pants up, give girls sweaters as needed. The robot would also pick up on pheromones of students. When pheromone levels are too high, it would run in circles and make loud and annoying noises to distract students. It would also have the voice of Morgan Freeman.

I would have him lead worship because he would have a T-Pain-like computer generated voice.

Good Luck!

Episode 135: Soak Up the Awesomeness

Chris on June 8th, 2010

Doug, Matt, Josh, and Katie return to the studio to “soak up the awesomeness”. We finally have a real copy of Live Large in the studio to mock Josh and Matt about. But once they get to questions they talk about engaging volunteers in planning and brainstorming, the new YouthMInistry.com Daily, free ebooks, asking for a raise, involving mentally challenged students, and putting spouse and kids ahead of church issues.
