Great question. Certainly something to think about: how do we communicate best with today’s teens. God bless. Grace and Peace.
By the way, when are you going to reveal the winner for the caption contest?

While I’m checking “text message,” I’m progressively finding that Twitter is a great way to do this. I started spreading it with student leaders and they’ve spread it to their friends. It leaves out a lot of students, but those joining are key influencers, so things spread quickly.

I checked e mail because it has been the most efficient tool in the past to make sure to reach all students… BUT, I am sensing the shift to text messaging - that is now rivaling e mail as my number one way to stay connected with them. I’m glad that Simply is putting out the SimplyTXT resource - great resource, and thanks for helping us stay ahead of the game!

I replied with email as my choice, but I am using texting more and more. The reason for email being the choice is we need to share a lot of information with our leadership students. Many times I will send them email and a text saying “You’ve Got Mail” to let them know to check their email.
